The center of the front strap is formed in a generous radius to prevent damaging the bail of service wedge clamps.
For use with a service wedge clamp to attach the neutral wire of a drop cable to the service mast. Front strap is rounded to prevent damage to bail of the service clamp. Square hole at end of the front slot captures the carriage bolt head during installation and prevents slippage after installation. Both clamps incorporate a speciallly designed slot on one end of the fron strap to permit installation of the bracket without removing the bolts. The special slot feature captures the carriage bolt shoulder to prevent it from turning or slipping out after installation.
